About Me
I got my real estate license in 2010, but not to sell houses. My husband and I were flipping them. I learned this business from the construction side first — what's actually wrong with a house, what a repair really costs, and what's cosmetic versus what's a real problem. In 2021 I started putting that license to work for other people.
How I ended up in San Diego
My husband is a Navy veteran. His service is what brought us here. He's been with federal fire since 2008, and we've raised our family in East County ever since.
Why military families work with me
I've used my own VA loan. I've used the benefits that come with it. So when I explain how the funding fee works, what happens when an appraisal comes in under, or how to time a purchase against your report date — that's not something I picked up in a class. It's how we bought our own house.
If you're PCSing in or out, I know the timeline you're actually working with, not the one that looks good on paper.
I own real estate too
I've been the landlord, the buyer, the seller, and the one writing the check for a new roof. When we're looking at whether a property makes sense, I'm thinking about it the same way I would if it were mine.
Where I work
Alpine, Campo, Lakeside, and El Cajon are home turf. I also cover all of San Diego County, plus Temecula and Murrieta — coastal, inland, city, and back country, including the parts a lot of agents won't drive to.
How I work
I'll tell you what I actually think. If a house is a bad deal, I'll say so. If a repair isn't worth doing before you list, or if renting it out would be more benificial, I'll say that too. You'll get straight answers and no pressure — you're the one making the decision.
Serving those who serve.
